Shipping and Delivery Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026

This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how Braintric Electrical And Automation Engineering Pty Ltd (Braintricweus or our) processes, dispatches, transports and delivers goods, including how delivery estimates, freight charges, tracking, site access, damaged shipments and collection arrangements are handled. The purpose of this Policy is to provide clear expectations about the physical movement of goods from Braintric or an authorised supplier to the nominated delivery location.

1. Delivery coverage

Braintric may arrange delivery within Australia where a suitable courier, freight carrier or supplier-direct delivery service is available for the relevant product and destination. Delivery availability depends on factors such as the product’s size, weight, value, dangerous-goods classification, freight restrictions, destination postcode, site access and carrier capability. Some products may not be eligible for delivery to PO boxes, parcel lockers, remote locations, islands, restricted-access sites or locations that require specialised transport. International delivery is available only where Braintric expressly agrees to it before the order is accepted.

2. Delivery address

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including the street address, suburb, state, postcode, recipient or site contact and a telephone number where reasonably required for delivery. The customer should also provide any access information that may affect delivery, including loading-dock requirements, security procedures, booking windows, site inductions, parking restrictions, weight or height limits, forklift requirements, tailgate requirements, stairs, crane requirements or other unusual access conditions. If materially incorrect or incomplete delivery information causes a failed delivery or additional carrier cost, Braintric may recover reasonable additional costs to the extent permitted by law.

3. Order processing

Processing begins once the order has been accepted, any required payment conditions have been satisfied and Braintric has received information reasonably necessary to fulfil the shipment. Processing time varies according to stock availability, supplier lead time, product type and whether goods are specially ordered, configured, assembled or sourced for a particular project. In-stock standard items will generally be prepared for dispatch as soon as reasonably practicable. Special-order or project-specific goods may require additional lead time.

4. Stock and supplier lead times

A product described as available, in stock or subject to a stated lead time is based on information reasonably available at the time. Supplier stock positions can change without immediate notice. Manufacturer production delays, import delays, product discontinuation and allocation restrictions can also affect dispatch timing. If a material supply delay becomes known before dispatch, Braintric will take reasonable steps to communicate the updated position to the customer.

5. Split shipments

Where an order contains goods with different availability dates, Braintric may hold the order until all items are available or arrange separate shipments where this is practical. If separate shipments would materially increase freight cost, Braintric will seek agreement before imposing an additional charge that was not previously disclosed.

6. Dispatch confirmation

Where available, Braintric will provide confirmation when goods have been dispatched. Dispatch confirmation may include the carrier name, tracking number, consignment reference or estimated delivery information. A dispatch notification confirms that goods have entered the transport process. It does not necessarily mean that the carrier has completed its first tracking scan.

7. Delivery estimates

Delivery timeframes are estimates unless Braintric expressly agrees in writing to a guaranteed delivery date. Estimated delivery periods may be affected by carrier networks, supplier delays, remote-area servicing, weather, natural disasters, road closures, industrial action, peak-period congestion, security restrictions, failed delivery attempts, incorrect address information or other circumstances outside Braintric’s reasonable control. Braintric will not describe an estimated carrier timeframe as a guaranteed commitment unless that guarantee has been expressly accepted.

8. Freight and delivery charges

Delivery charges may be calculated according to destination, weight, dimensions, freight class, carrier, urgency, insurance requirements, dangerous-goods status or special handling requirements. Additional charges may apply to heavy or bulky goods, express freight, remote areas, tailgate delivery, crane delivery, high-risk sites, restricted delivery windows, special packaging or other non-standard transport requirements. Where a mandatory delivery charge can reasonably be calculated before the customer commits to the purchase, it will be disclosed in advance. If an unusual delivery requirement is only identified later because it was not reasonably known beforehand, Braintric will explain the additional requirement and cost before proceeding where reasonably practicable.

9. Carriers

Braintric may use third-party couriers, freight companies, supplier delivery networks or specialist carriers according to the nature of the shipment. The carrier selected may vary by destination, product, size, weight, urgency, availability and transport restrictions. Carrier operational terms may affect tracking, delivery windows, signature requirements, redelivery arrangements and depot collection.

10. Tracking

Where the carrier provides tracking, Braintric may provide the tracking details to the customer. Tracking information is generated by the carrier and may not update immediately or continuously. Scans can be delayed, missed or recorded at different points in the carrier network. If tracking shows no meaningful movement for an unusual period, the customer should contact Braintric so the shipment can be investigated.

11. Delivery attendance

Some deliveries require a person to be present to receive the goods. A signature, identification check, site contact or unloading assistance may be required depending on the carrier and the nature of the product. The customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorised person is available where attended delivery has been arranged.

12. Authority to leave

Authority to leave may be available for some shipments, depending on the carrier, product, value, size, location and risk profile. High-value goods, dangerous goods, regulated equipment, oversized products or shipments subject to carrier signature requirements may not be eligible for unattended delivery. Where the customer expressly authorises unattended delivery, the customer should nominate a location that is reasonably secure, weather-protected and accessible to the carrier. Authority to leave does not affect legal rights where goods are not actually delivered as required.

13. Failed delivery attempts

If a delivery attempt fails because no authorised recipient is available or customer-controlled access is not provided, the carrier may return the shipment to a depot, schedule redelivery or return the goods to the sender. Reasonable redelivery, storage or return-to-sender costs caused by a customer-controlled failed delivery may be payable by the customer where those costs are legally recoverable.

14. Restricted and difficult-access sites

Customers must notify Braintric before dispatch where the delivery location has unusual access requirements. Examples include construction sites, hospitals, data centres, secure facilities, shopping centres, mine sites, high-rise buildings, sites requiring inductions, locations with restricted vehicle access or sites requiring booked unloading equipment. Failure to disclose known access restrictions may delay delivery and result in additional carrier charges.

15. Inspection on delivery

Customers should inspect the external condition of goods and packaging as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery. If there is visible damage, missing packages, incorrect goods or an obvious shortage, the customer should record the issue and contact Braintric promptly. Where possible, photographs of the goods, packaging and shipping labels should be retained because they can assist in a freight investigation.

16. Damaged shipments

If goods appear to have been damaged in transit, do not discard the packaging until Braintric has provided reasonable instructions, unless retaining the packaging would create a safety or hygiene issue. Braintric may ask for photographs, delivery records or inspection information so the cause and extent of the damage can be established. For electrical equipment, do not energise visibly damaged goods until the condition has been assessed by an appropriately qualified person where necessary.

17. Missing or incomplete deliveries

If part of an order is missing, first check whether the order was dispatched in more than one consignment. If the shipment appears incomplete, contact Braintric with the order number and details of the missing item or package. Braintric may review packing records, tracking data, carrier scans and delivery evidence before arranging an appropriate next step.

18. Lost shipments

A shipment may be treated as potentially lost where it has not been delivered within a reasonable period and carrier tracking or investigation does not identify its location. Braintric will work with the carrier or supplier to investigate a missing shipment and will provide an appropriate solution where Braintric remains responsible for supply. The customer will not be required to resolve a seller-side delivery failure solely with the carrier where Braintric retains responsibility as the supplier.

19. Delivery delays

If a material delivery delay occurs, Braintric will take reasonable steps to provide available information and, where possible, a revised estimate. If goods are not supplied within an agreed or reasonable time, rights may arise under applicable law depending on the circumstances.

20. Collection

Customer collection may be offered for selected orders by prior arrangement. Collection is not available unless Braintric confirms that the goods are ready and provides the collection instructions. A person collecting goods may be asked to provide the customer or company name, order information, reasonable identification and authority to collect where acting for another person or entity. Do not attend a Braintric location for collection unless collection has been expressly confirmed.

21. Risk in transit

Risk in goods during transport is determined by the applicable contract and law. Where Braintric is responsible for arranging delivery to the customer’s nominated location, Braintric will not rely on this Policy to remove responsibility for goods where the law places the delivery risk on Braintric. Where the customer independently arranges and controls its own carrier or collection method, different risk arrangements may apply according to the accepted transaction.

22. Delivery enquiries

For delivery questions, tracking assistance or freight issues, contact:

Braintric Electrical And Automation Engineering Pty Ltd

Braintric may arrange delivery within Australia where suitable freight services are available for the relevant product and destination. Availability can vary because of product size, weight, classification, postcode and carrier restrictions.

Dispatch timing depends on stock availability, supplier lead time and whether the goods are standard, special-order, configured or project-specific. Braintric will process accepted orders as soon as reasonably practicable and communicate material known delays.

No, unless Braintric expressly confirms a guaranteed date in writing. Standard delivery estimates can be affected by carrier networks, weather, supplier delays, access conditions and other circumstances.

Where the selected carrier provides tracking, Braintric may provide the tracking or consignment details. Tracking scans are controlled by the carrier and may not update immediately.

Possibly, depending on the carrier and product. High-value, dangerous, regulated or oversized goods may require attended delivery or a signature. Where authority to leave is available, the nominated location should be secure and weather-protected.

The carrier may reschedule, return the shipment to a depot or return it to the sender. Reasonable additional costs caused by customer-controlled access failures may be payable where legally recoverable.

Contact Braintric promptly, retain the packaging where practical and provide photographs of the goods, packaging and shipping label. Do not energise visibly damaged electrical equipment until it has been appropriately assessed.

Only where Braintric expressly confirms collection for that order. Do not attend for collection until Braintric has advised that the goods are ready and provided collection instructions.
